Charter Machine’s Electro Osmosis Dehydrator (ELODE) is a 2nd stage dewatering unit that uses an electric field to drive water out of the biosolids without the addition of heat or chemicals – reducing the biosolids volume by 50 % in 10 minutes. The ELODE unit is placed after the
primary dewatering equipment such as belt filter presses, screw presses or centrifuges.
